Utility and Boot Room

It was lovely to have the space to introduce a large single bowl ceramic sink, an asset when it’s time for gardening projects, muddy boots and white dogs.

The design needed to embrace a number of large appliances. A tall housing absorbed the laundry appliances – in a working room not everything needs to be tucked away. Two tall adjacent cupboards were introduced, one to conceal the boiler with drying racks above and the other for tall domestic equipment.

Housings for coats, hats and riding saddles were introduced into the design with a small perching bench for putting on those tricky boots!
